The ideal applicant is professional, passionate and committed to doula work, has attended in-person doula training or has experience in supporting families in the childbearing years, and is committed to advancing the doula profession, while maintaining ethical business practices inside the scope of practice set forth by MTDC. Attendance at meetings, and involvement with various MTDC committees of is highly encouraged. Payment of annual dues will be required to maintain membership.
